WeRaya With You – Celebrating the spirit of Eid together

After ten years of ongoing war in Syria, many of the P@lestini@n refugees in Syria have started a new phase of asylum along with other Syrian refugees. In which 40,000 have fled to Turkey, with half of them residing near the border provinces such as Kilis.

For them, life still represents a daily struggle and it has been difficult to access the basic needs. It is estimated that over 80% of them live below the poverty line.

To help ease their plight and help improve their living conditions, WeCare have recently joined efforts with Shafak Sham, a local NGO in Turkey. In this collaboration, a distribution of food baskets to a total of 231 people from 42 refugee families in Kilis were made on the final week of Syawal.
