General

A: WeCare is a Humanitarian non-government organization in Brunei, first established in October 2016 registered under Register of Society Brunei Darussalam.

Q: What is WeCare’s Vision?

A: Providing relief efforts and assistance to the victims of humanitarian issues.

A: WeCare is offering volunteer work in terms of helping with emergency relief, fundraising for local and internationally as well as raising awareness on humanitarian issues. Volunteers may be involved in providing food, help in distribution of food packs to underprivileged individuals, families, orphans, as well as provide aids and donations in emergency relief. There are few projects coming up this year, be sure to follow us via our Instagram “Wecare.bn” for updates on our projects.

Q: What is the age limit to volunteer?

A: WeCare is accepting volunteers between the ages of 15-35 years old. Should you have any questions regarding being a volunteer/member of WeCare Organisation, please contact WeCare’s hotline

Finance

Donation

A: You can donate via BIBD account transfer using bill payment or bank-in to WeCare’s BIBD account. Once transferred, please provide a screenshot of the transfer or bank-in receipt and send it to a WeCare representative with information on what the donation is for.

A: To confirm the fund transfer and for our Finance Team to do reconciliation with the bank statement.

 

Q: I transferred to WeCare’s account but I forgot to screenshot the transfer / I lost the bank-in receipt?

A: You can confirm the amount you transferred and the last four digits of your account / the branch you deposited to. This will help our Finance Team to confirm with the bank statement.

A: We are required under Societies Act (Chapter 203) section 22 (1(d)) to submit audited accounts to The Registrar of Society every year.

Admin Fee

A: Administrative cost allows the purchase of running expenses e.g logistics, equipment, utilities, office rental to professionally execute the projects. Annually, admin cost covers for the subscription in license and audit fee. It also covers professional training for members and volunteers. Part of the admin cost is also divided for emergency savings in case of unexpected expenses.
