On the 14th January 2022, WeCare held the fifth phase of the “Bruneians for Bruneians: Covid-19 Relief” program, which is also called the “B4B” program.
This phase by phase program was launched in April 2020, where the goal and objective of the program is to provide assistance to families affected by Covid-19, as well as to spread awareness and hope that humanitarian work still exists. So far, the program is divided into five phases. The first and second phases of the program were conducted in the same year, 2020, while the third and fourth phases were conducted in 2021. This program is a program of contribution of essential items from the public to the public in need.
For the fifth phase of this program, the amount of contribution used was BND768.90. The fifth phase was implemented in Kampung Kiarong over two days, where the first days focused on the packaging of kitchen essentials by WeCare members and the second day focused on the distribution of the packages. WeCare in collaboration with the Acting Village Head of Kampung Kiarong, Muhammad Shair bin Haji Samsuddin has distributed the packages to 11 families living in Kampung Kiarong. The list of families selected by the village head to receive the contribution are families affected by Covid-19. During the course of the program, the packaging and distribution of items were done in accordance with the guidelines of the Covid-19 Standard Operating Procedure.
