About This Project

Type: Fundraising

Partner: Sengkarai Primary School, Tutong.

Objectives:

1. To instill a caring attitude and want to help in the community to orphans and the less fortunate.
2. Appreciate the less fortunate by enlivening the breaking of the fast ceremony together.
3. Provide space and opportunities for individuals and some corporate groups to serve by donating to orphans and the Skim Miftahun Najah.
4. Provide exposure to members of the WeCare Association to better understand the lifestyles of orphans.

Implementation:

1. The WeCare Association organized the Iftar program with Orphans and Skim Miftahun Najah (SMN) among students from Sengkarai Primary School, Tutong.
2. The program is conducted in collaboration with various parties such as WeCare Committee Members and the school as a facilitator and provides venue preparation.
3. The program is sponsored by several small and medium enterprises consisting of Covered by Annisa, As-Syifa and Enrich Group.
4. A total of 11 families from the Skim Miftahun Najah and 1 family of orphans were given donations in the form of hampers, cakes and cash.
