Refugee lifestyle simulation. To feel the life of a refugee (in terms of food) to raise awareness about the problem of refugees especially among our Muslim brothers and sisters around the globe. This project is also as a social media campaign in conjunction with Untukmu Syria project dated 13th – 18th March 2018.
How this project works:
With Instagram as the main platform, participants will have to share insights of their challenge on Instagram stories at least three times a day (morning, lunch time and night) as well as share final thoughts and reflections at the end of the challenge in the form of video or photo by using the #LivingUnder2Dollar hashtag depending whether it is a #1DayChallenge or #2DayChallenge.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
BENEFICIARIES OF THE PROJECT
This was the starting point where people heard a lot and grew more interest about our organisation including big social media influencers and news platform which played a major part in building trust of our people to contribute to the ongoing Untukmu Syria project at that time. We managed to get quite a number of people doing the challenge but the actual number of people joining is not exactly known as we didn’t do any registration for this project.
