About This Project

Type: Fundraising

Objectives:

1. Strengthen the relationship between WeCare members, WeCare volunteers (Kindness Crew) and the Asnaf group.
2. Provide an opportunity for the target group, namely small children from families with less Asnaf to experience the joy of Hari Raya Aidilfitri together.
3. Delight little children by giving them hampers.
4. Educate a sense of empathy for the needy and educate a sense of gratitude to God for the sustenance He gives.

Implementation:

1. The hampers given are donations in the form of ringgit from WeCare members themselves. Donations were open from 16 June 2018 to 30 June 2018.
2. Every family that was visited received a hamper which is an item that is liked by the majority of small children such as stationery, toys, books and so on.
3. WeCare visited 10 homes of the Asnaf group selected following the families who have been visited by WeCare in conjunction with the Ramadhan Relief Project during the month of Ramadhan this year.
4. The members who are involved are WeCare members and volunteers.
